I was excited when I found out I was taking a train! I thought it was going to be a bus. The seats are very comfortable and there’s plenty of legroom. The train wasn’t packed, so I had my seat and the one next to me, which was much appreciated. The steps into the train were very steep and I had a hard time getting up them because I am very weak from being ill. The person helping people on the train was watchful and helped me with my backpack. It was very hard—if not impossible—to hear the train person on the loudspeaker. The ticket person was thoughtful and patient.

Well I thought the train was very nice modern and well kept. But I am a 73 year old woman and I had difficulty getting on the train. The steps were too high and I was carrying my tote and suitcase there was no one to help so I tossed my suitcase on to the train just as some girls were walking thru the vestibule and instead of offering to help they kicked my suitcase out of the way..Anyway they need someone at every open entry to assist people luckily on the exit there was a nice lady that helped us.

Our bus got delayed for 30 minutes then Our bus broke down on the freeway, which caused a very long delay. It was frustrating and inconvenient, and we had to wait a long time to continue our journey. I hope Amtrak can improve the reliability of their buses and handle situations like this better in the future.
