Although the bus did not leave on time, and arrived an hour late, I still have the driver (and ETM bus lines,) a 5 / 5 rating because the road conditions in Chiloe and Puerto Montt, Chile were not remotely their fault. The roads (in this case, the one-lane Ruta 5) were under construction throughout the route, and drivers were getting antsy and sometimes crazy. I was delighted with the calm and safe approach that our driver took. ETM is a great bus company

Very good and safe ride even though we had to drive through a four-plus hour ride in a rain and wind storm, on a single lane rural highway EXCEPT when we boarded a ferry to cross to the other side of single lane Ruta 5 (otherwise known as the Panoamerican Highway). Absolutely great driver.

Nothing short of superb. It rained from the heavens for the entire 3-hour journey - I stress that it POURED non-stop, but the driver was so careful that I never once felt nervous. Great driver. Also great attendant - so polite / kept everything clean (brought around bags to throw our snacks in, etc.). Also advised us when we were approaching our destination, and that NEVER happens (unfortunately, for the foreign traveller) in Chile.
